Anne Hathaway Goes Polka Dot in Sydney

Can you guess the identity of this celeb who tried to remain incognito under her wide-brimmed hat?

Well, why, it’s Anne Hathaway!

And judging by the fact that we got these photos, Anne’s efforts to get anonymous wasn’t really that successful.

The sight of pretty Anne Hathaway in a cute blue polka dot dress made me do a double take. I was wondering how she could have pulled off that look in fall without getting cold. Well, my mistake, actually, for assuming that Anne was still up north when in fact she was down under in Australia when this photo was taken. And since summer in Australia starts on the 1st of December, Anne was just in time to dress pretty and light for the warm weather. Lucky her, for sure. Anne was in town for the Sydney premier of her movie Love and Other Drugs.

So what do you think of Anne’s ensemble? Anne’s look is very summery, and I like the polka dot dress. It’s pretty, and the flirty skirts make it playful and cool–perfect for the summer. Polka dots are a classic, and even if they can get chintzy at times, Anne’s is really very tasteful. The hat is a nice addition that pulled the whole breezy look together.
