Sizzle in Pantone’s Color of The Year: Orange

Tuesday, May 1, 2012 • by Razielle

Pantone’s color of the year for 2012 is Tangerine Tango. It’s not the easiest color to wear but it is surprisingly pleasant to look at. Look striking in any of the following orange dresses we found online.

The following orange gown from 3.1 Phillip Lin is a nice happy dress. We found the dress in Shopbop.

3.1 Philip Lim T-back Dress

We love the T-strap back of this dress. The dress has a scoop neck with a loose t-back so only people with fit shoulders and backs should dare wear this dress. It retails for $850.

The next dress is a cheaper alternative to 3.1 Phillip Lim dress above. It is by Jessica Simpson and we found it inĀ  Zappos.

Jessica Simpson V-Neck Ruffle Gown

It is a sleeveless chiffon gown with a V-neck. The dress has a plunging V neckline with ruffle accent. To create a more flattering look, the dress is created with an empire waist. This dress is only $168.

Olcay Gulsen High Neck Dress

Also from Shopbop, this orange dress by Olcay Gulsen is a silm maxi dress with a high round neck. The dress is also made of 1oo% silk making it worth its $800 sticker price.

Are you ready to wear Pantone’s color of the year in the last six years of the month? No? There are plenty of orange dresses out there, go have fun with the color!
