Katie Holmes Wears Own Creation at Project Runway Taping

Katie Holmes is showing the world she’s one tough woman by stepping out and doing everyday normal things even if she’s in the middle of divorce proceedings.  Just a few days after filing for divorce from Tom Cruise in New York City last June 29, Katie Holmes was photographed leaving the New School- Parsons School of Design after she taped an episode for Project Runway.

For her stint as guest judge in the TV show, the actress wore a dress from her own label, Holmes and Yang.  The actress launched the label in 2009 with design partner Jeanne Yang.

While the dress has clean lines and a classic silhouette, she decided to play up the look with the fun Rose & Roll sandals by Roger Vivier. It looks like Katie got her groove back.
